Nashik, November 20 (Language) Three people have been arrested for bursting firecrackers in a picture hall in Malegaon town of Nashik district during the screening of the recently released Salman Khan starrer ‘Tiger 3’. Police gave this information on Monday.
The incident took place on November 12 during the 9 to 12 midnight show at Mohan Cinema, causing panic and chaos among the audience. A video of the incident was widely circulated on social media.
The police had registered a case under the Maharashtra Police Act at Malegaon Cantonment police station.
Javed Khan and Bajroom Shaikh were arrested on November 17 and another person was arrested on November 19, an official said. All three were taken to the movie hall on November 19 as part of the investigation. He said that further investigation is going on.
