41 cases of people getting burnt on the occasion of Diwali were reported in Gujarat.


Ahmedabad, November 13 (Language) On Diwali, 41 cases of people getting caught in fire and getting burnt were reported from different parts of Gujarat, out of which 10 are from Ahmedabad. This information has been given in the data compiled by 108 ambulance service providers.

The data shows that on Diwali day (November 12), the overall number of emergency cases was slightly higher than on normal days and stood at 4,027.

GVK EMRI Green Health Services, which operates 108 emergency ambulance services under public-private partnership in Gujarat, said that on the occasion of Diwali, 41 cases of burns were reported, which is about 515 percent compared to the average of seven cases on normal days. There are more.

The data said that Ahmedabad remained on top in Gujarat in the cases of people getting burnt on the occasion of Diwali and a total of ten cases were reported.

The total number of emergency cases recorded on Diwali was 4,027, compared to an average of 3,961 on a normal day, the company said in a statement.
