Ahmedabad/Palanpur, November 3 (Language) Five people allegedly involved in gang rape and robbery in Palanpur, Gujarat have been arrested. The accused, working as security personnel, were trying to flee to the neighboring state of Rajasthan. A police officer gave this information.
Superintendent of Police Amit Vasava said the accused are accused of gang-raping a 20-year-old domestic help and robbing them of cash, ATM cards and a vehicle in a flat in Ahmedabad’s Bopol area.
Vasava said that out of the five accused, three are residents of Punjab, while two are residents of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. All the accused were caught in Banaskantha district while trying to flee to Rajasthan in a bus.
