Turin (Italy), November 18 (AP) Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz made his debut by defeating Daniil Medvedev and reached the semi-finals of the ATP Finals tennis tournament.
Alcaraz won the match on Friday 6-4 6-4.
Alcaraz will now face world number one player Novak Djokovic in the semi-finals.
“This is one of the toughest challenges I’ve faced, facing Novak,” Alcaraz said in reference to six-time champion Djokovic.
“Novak is Novak,” he said. He is the best player in the world at the moment. He has lost only six matches this year, that is unbelievable. ,
