Jammu, November 20 (Language) The Army on Monday handed over 10 special types of scooters to soldiers injured in various battles in Jammu and Kashmir. This vehicle will help them eliminate their dependence on others for their daily activities. The army gave this information.
The disabled soldiers expressed their happiness towards the Army and War Wounded Foundation (WWF) for improving their lives through this initiative.
Addressing the event, Lieutenant General Sandeep Jain, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Army’s 16 Corps, said, “It is a matter of great pride for us to be a part of this event organized by the War Wounded Foundation (WWF).
He also paid tribute to the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country and said that it is because of their sacrifice that the society is proud of them.
The injured soldiers said that the army and the country have stood with them in difficult times.
