New Delhi, November 17 (Language) The first India Art, Architecture and Design Biennial Festival (IAADB) 2023 will be organized from 9 to 15 December in the country.
The Ministry of Culture will organize the ceremony at the Red Fort, which will be inaugurated on 8 December 2023.
Following the inauguration and ‘VIP’ preview, exhibitions including panel discussions, workshops and an art market will be held from December 9 to 15 and will be open to the public, according to a release.
It said keynote speeches by international artists, architects and designers, public art installations, art markets and cultural events are the major attractions of the biennale.
Addressing a press conference at the National Museum today, Minister of State for Culture and External Affairs Meenakshi Lekhi said the biennial event will showcase a diverse range of artists, including traditional artisans, contemporary designers, curators and thinkers.
He said that a message has been sent to the Prime Minister’s Office requesting that Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurate the function.
