New Delhi, November 9 (Language) Congress on Thursday released the final list of four candidates for the Telangana Assembly elections.
There are a total of five names in the list of party candidates, but the candidate from Patancheru assembly seat has been changed. From here, Katta Srinivas Goud has been given the ticket in place of N Madhu Mudiraj.
Mujiballa Sharif from Charminar, Bathula Lakshman Reddy from Miryalaguda, Rama Reddy Damodar Reddy from Suryapet and Mandula Samuel from Tungaturthy have been made candidates.
Last Monday, Congress had released the third list of 14 candidates. The most prominent name in it was that of State Congress Committee President Revanth Reddy, who was in the Kamareddy Assembly constituency of Chief Minister K. Challenging Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR).
Congress has declared its candidates for 118 out of total 119 seats in Telangana. It has left one seat for the Communist Party of India.
Voting for 119 assembly seats in Telangana will be held in a single phase on November 30, while the counting of votes will take place on December 3.
