Copper futures prices rise due to higher demand.


New Delhi, November 21 (Language) Due to increase in spot demand, the price of copper increased by 0.03 percent to Rs 717.85 per kg in the futures market on Tuesday.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for November delivery rose 25 paise, or 0.03 per cent, to Rs 717.85 per kg. 3,458 lots were traded in this.

Analysts said increasing bets by participants played a key role in the rise in copper prices.
