Ahmedabad, November 21 (Language) A court in Gandhinagar, Gujarat on Tuesday granted bail to Wayne Johnson, an Australian arrested for entering the field wearing a T-shirt in support of Palestine during the ICC World Cup cricket final.
A day earlier, the court had sent Johnson to police custody for a day.
A senior city crime branch official said Johnson was produced before the court on Tuesday evening which released him on bail on the condition that he cooperates in the investigation and submits his passport to the court.
