Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh) November 18 (Language) Police have recovered the body of a youth missing since Friday in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. Police gave this information on Saturday.
According to the police, the body was recovered from a deep pit in the Kuti Colony forest of Tila Mod police station area.
Police said that the deceased was identified as Satyendra (30), resident of Sonia Vihar, who had left his house at 4 pm on Friday but did not return home throughout the night.
According to the police, on Saturday morning the police informed his father about the recovery of the body.
Shalimar Garden Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Suryabali Maurya said that the youth was murdered by slitting his throat with a sharp weapon and it appears that the murder took place due to a money dispute.
The police officer said that on the complaint of Satyendra’s father, an FIR has been registered against unknown assailants under relevant sections.
He said that three police teams have been deployed to nab the accused.
A police officer said that the body has been sent for post-mortem, the report of which is awaited.
