Bulandshahr (UP), November 20 (Language) A case of dowry death has been registered against a woman constable’s husband and in-laws in connection with her death under suspicious circumstances in Syana area of Bulandshahr district. A police officer gave this information on Monday.
Police area officer Bhaskar Kumar said today that on the intervening night of 19-20 November, information was received that the body of a female constable named Chanchal (21) was found hanging in Khad Mohan Nagar area of Sayana police station area. He told that Chanchal was posted in Pilibhit district and had come to her in-laws’ house on maternity leave.
He said that on the complaint of the constable’s father, a case has been registered against her husband Kuldeep and mother-in-law and father-in-law on charges of dowry death. The matter is being investigated by sending the body for post-mortem.
