Demonetization is the biggest corruption in the world, the coffers of the rich were filled with the money of the poor: Akhilesh Yadav.

Lucknow, November 11 (Language) Samajwadi Party (SP) national president and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Akhilesh Yadav strongly criticized the Centre’s decision related to demonetization in 2016 and said on Saturday that ‘this is the biggest corruption in the world. ‘ Is.

“Demonetization done by the BJP government (at the Centre) is the biggest corruption in the world,” he told reporters at the SP headquarters here. To compensate for the fraud and loss of Rs 15 lakh crore in the country, the Center had taken the decision of demonetization as a well-thought-out strategy.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced demonetization on November 8, 2016. Under this, old notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 were taken out of circulation.

Akhilesh claimed that during demonetisation, “the government deposited all the public money in banks. He took the money of the poor to fill the coffers of the rich.”

He said, “The Prime Minister had said that corruption and terrorism would end with demonetisation. Inflation will reduce, but his claim proved false. Even after demonetization, neither corruption reduced, nor inflation stopped nor terrorism ended. Today, inflation, unemployment and corruption are at their peak in the country.”

The SP chief said, “According to the figures, even today Rs 33 lakh crore cash is in the market in the country. Even today, most people are transacting in cash instead of digital. Purchase of land and major items is being done in cash. Everyone saw that large-scale cash transactions and corruption took place in land registry and purchase.

He claimed, “BJP people were involved in the land registration done in Ayodhya.”

Supporting the demands of the women employees working in ‘Dial 112 Response System’, Akhilesh said that “we will raise this issue” on the very first day of the assembly session. Our first question would be why did BJP destroy Dial 112?

He alleged that the BJP government is emotionless, heartless and visionless. She is taking advantage of poverty. The women working in Dial 112 are threatening to be fired from their jobs. Sisters and daughters are being harassed on festival days.”

Regarding the protest of women working in ‘Dial-112’, SP’s chief spokesperson Rajendra Choudhary told PTI, “During the 2022 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, BJP had promised that it will pay the salaries of these women.” Will increase it by Rs 3,000, but it was not completed.

Akhilesh said, “We assure these women employees that we will increase their salaries if the SP government is formed. He said that if their demand is Rs 3,000, we will double it to Rs 6,000.”

The former Chief Minister said, “In the Samajwadi government, we had given the response system UP Dial 100 to the Uttar Pradesh Police. For that, police officers were sent to New York and Singapore. Complete information about the way the New York Police works was taken and it was given to the police according to Uttar Pradesh, so that the people of the state get help from the police as soon as possible in case of any incident or accident.”

The SP chief said that the BJP government ruined the dial 100 police service by making it 112.

He alleged, “Today the police has become the most corrupt. Every police station is sold. The BJP government wants incidents like Deoria in the entire state.

Akhilesh was probably referring to the October 2 incident, in which five members of the same family, and former district panchayat member Prem Yadav, were killed in violence over a land dispute in Fatehpur village of Rudrapur area (in Deoria district).

Referring to the Agniveer scheme, the SP chief said, “Similarly, the BJP government has cheated the youth by bringing the Agniveer scheme. The poverty of the poor is being taken advantage of. Agniveer Yojana is a half-baked job.

He said, “Whenever SP gets a chance in the future, we will abolish the Agniveer scheme and give full service tenure in the army like before.”

The seventh birthday of ‘Khajanchi’ was celebrated at the SP headquarters.

During demonetization, a woman standing in a long queue to exchange currency notes at the Punjab National Bank (PNB) in Rasoolabad area of Kanpur Dehat gave birth to a baby and Akhilesh named the newborn as ‘Khajanchi’.

According to the statement issued from SP headquarters, in order to celebrate the treasurer’s birthday every year, it was celebrated this year also. The party celebrated his birthday early this year, which falls on December 2, due to the assembly elections being held in five states.
