New Delhi: Diwali Shubh Muhurat: Special puja will be held at three auspicious times on Diwali. Although there will be Amavasya on Monday also, the festival of Diwali will be celebrated on Sunday only. Astrologer and Pratik Mishra Puri of Indian Oriental Science Society told that Amavasya will occur after 14.45 pm on 12th November. On this day, Maha Lakshmi will be worshiped in three Muhurtas. Pradosh Kaal from 17.30 to 19.10, Lakshmi Puja and Ganesh Puja would be best at this time. There will be Choghadiya of Amrit in it. The second Muhurta will be of Nishith period, which will be from 8 pm to 11 pm. In this, there will be chanting of Kanak Dhara Mantra and special worship of Goddess Lakshmi, Ulukh Puja. The last Muhurta will be of Maha Nishith Kaal which will be from 11 am to 2 am. In this, the practice of Tantra will give special results.
Worship method of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha on Diwali
Diwali auspicious time: 1. Cleanliness is important on Diwali Puja. The house should be thoroughly cleaned and sprinkled with Ganga water. Houses are illuminated with lamps and candles and archways are made with rangoli, flower garlands, banana and Ashoka leaves.
2. Spread red cotton cloth at the place of worship. Place some grains in the middle. Keep water in a silver or bronze kalash. Put betel nut, marigold flower, a coin and some rice grains in the Kalash. Place five mango leaves in a circle on the Kalash.
Diwali auspicious time: 3. Place the idol or photo of Lord Ganesha on the right side of the Kalash in the south-west direction and the idol or photo of Goddess Lakshmi in the middle. Make a small flat shape of rice on a small plate. Design a lotus flower on it with turmeric, add some money and place it in front of the idol.
4. Keep your account book, money and other business related items in front of the idol. Apply tilak, offer flowers and light a lamp in front of the idols. Place the flower in your palm and chant the mantra with your eyes closed. Offer the flower to Ganesha and Lakshmi.
Diwali auspicious time: 5. Offer Panchamrit to the idol of Lakshmi in the form of water bath. Offer sweets, turmeric, kumkum to the goddess and garland her. Light incense sticks or incense. Then offer coconut, betel nut and betel leaf. Perform Aarti of Goddess Lakshmi. Ring the bell.
