Jaipur, November 17 (Language) Former Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satyapal Malik on Friday urged farmers in Rajasthan not to vote for any Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader who has raised the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for farmers. ) has not resolved the issue.
He called for unity among farmers and encouraged them to vote collectively on the basis of agricultural issues.
Speaking to reporters here, Malik accused the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government of not fulfilling the demands of the farmers and said that the farmers should vote on the basis of their issues.
When asked about the possibility of Modi returning to power in 2024, he said that if that happens, he fears he will find himself in jail.
He said he is considered number one in Modi’s “enemies list”.
Malik said that his security has been withdrawn and only one soldier is left under his protection.
He reiterated that the Pulwama attack happened due to the negligence and carelessness of the government.
Malik said that aircraft should have been provided for the movement of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel.
