Mumbai, November 13 (Language) A 42-year-old man suffered minor burns when a fire broke out in some shops in Mumbai’s western suburban Bandra last night. A municipal body official gave this information on Monday.
He told that a fire broke out in Kherwadi area of Bandra (East) at 11.20 pm and its flames soon spread to other nearby shops.
He told that Shivaji Thombare suffered minor burns in the fire. He was taken to the nearby V N Desai Hospital from where he was discharged after first aid.
The official said that the local people extinguished the fire, later fire department vehicles also arrived.
He said that due to the fire, tarpaulin sheets, wooden furniture, electrical wires etc. kept in three-four shops were burnt. The cause of the fire has not been known.
