New Delhi, November 4 (Language) The first unit of NUPPL’s ​​coal-based supercritical thermal power plant in Uttar Pradesh has been connected to the grid.

Neyveli is a joint venture of Uttar Pradesh Power Limited (NUPPL), NLC India Limited and Uttar Pradesh State Power Generation Corporation Limited.

NUPPL is setting up a 1980 MW supercritical thermal power plant in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.

NLC India told the stock market, “After fulfilling all the necessary conditions, Unit-1 (660 MW) has been successfully connected to the 765 KV grid on November 4, 2023.”
