Voting is taking place on 300 assembly seats in both the states. Today the fate of the candidates is at stake on 230 seats of MP and 70 seats of Chhattisgarh. In Madhya Pradesh, BJP has fielded 7 MPs including 3 Union Ministers. Not only this, the fate of many ministers will also be captured in the EVM today which will open on 3rd December. Complete preparations have been made by the Election Commission. There are tight security arrangements at 64 thousand 626 polling booths. Voting will take place in Naxal affected areas only till 3 pm.

Voting process started in MP
The total number of polling stations in MP is 64626. Of these, there are 17032 critical polling stations. Vulnerable polling stations are 1316. There will be women staff at 5160 centres. There will be 183 disabled staff at the centres. 57 green booths have also been built. A company of 700 CAPFs and 2 lakh police forces will be deployed for security. 42000 polling stations will be monitored through webcasting and CCTV. GPS devices have been installed in 23510 vehicles. There will be no publicity or posting of any kind of material within 100 meters. 847 Flying Squad Team. 997 static surveillance teams, 1 air ambulance, 2 helicopters will also be deployed.
