New Delhi, November 15 (Language) Four people, including a fake doctor, have been arrested for their alleged involvement in the death of a 45-year-old man after surgery at a clinic in South Delhi’s Greater Kailash. Delhi Police gave this information on Wednesday.
Police said Mahendra, a former technician, allegedly obtained a fake degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) and started working in a clinic in Greater Kailash-I.
Mahendra has been arrested along with the owner of the clinic and two other employees. The personnel have also claimed to have MBBS degree.
“Their certificates are being verified,” a police officer said. Police also said that four people were arrested after they were found involved in the surgery of a patient. The victim was admitted due to a minor health issue.
The patient’s family members say that the accused had performed the surgery.
Sources said that the police have already received more than 12 complaints from various people regarding the wrong treatment of patients by the doctors at the clinic.
