Birmingham (America), November 11 (AP) Four people were injured, two of whom are in critical condition, in a shootout allegedly related to a car theft case in Birmingham city of Alabama state of America.
Police gave this information.
He said the shooting happened just after 4:30 p.m. on Interstate 59 near 20th Street Ensley.
Police officer Truman Fitzgerald told reporters, “A group of people saw their car that was allegedly stolen and then they chased the vehicle.”
“People chased the vehicle and tried to tackle it themselves,” he said. During this there was firing between people from both the sides.
The police officer said that two people inside the car that was allegedly stolen after the shooting were in critical condition and were taken to the hospital, while two others suffered minor injuries. He said that no one else was injured in this incident.
He said that all four people involved in the shooting are considered suspects.
