Gold rose by Rs 50, silver slipped by Rs 600.


New Delhi, November 3 (Language) Amid the rise in the prices of precious metals in the global markets, gold rose by Rs 50 to Rs 61,900 per 10 grams in the bullion market of the national capital on Friday. HDFC Securities gave this information.

The price of gold had closed at Rs 61,850 per 10 grams in the last trading session.

“There was a slight rise in gold prices on Friday, which is Rs 50 higher than the previous closing price,” said Saumil Gandhi, senior analyst (commodities), HDFC Securities.

However, the price of silver fell by Rs 600 and closed at Rs 74,300 per kg.

In the international markets, the price of gold strengthened to $ 1,987 an ounce, while silver fell to $ 22.61 an ounce.
