Indian team reached Cricket World Cup final ‘like a boss’: Amit Shah


New Delhi, November 15 (Language) Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday praised the Indian team for its win against New Zealand in the Cricket World Cup semi-final, saying that the team has entered the final ‘like a boss’.

Shah also congratulated Virat Kohli for scoring his 50th century in an ODI and said it is a testament to his excellent sportsmanship, dedication and consistency.

“Entered the finals like a boss,” Shah said on social media platform ‘X’. What an amazing display of cricketing skill. Best wishes for the final match. Let’s get the cup.”

Regarding Kohli, the Home Minister said in a separate post, ’50th ODI century! Congratulations to Virat Kohli for achieving the historic feat of scoring his 50th century in an ODI cricket match.

He said, “This is a testament to your excellent sportsmanship, dedication and consistency. Take your game to a new level. The country is proud of you.”
