Justice Hussain appointed acting Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.


Peshawar, November 12 (Language) Justice (retd) Arshad Hussain was on Sunday appointed the interim Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan.

Former caretaker chief minister Muhammad Azam Khan died on Saturday after a brief illness, following which Hussain was appointed interim chief minister.

Hussain was made the law minister in the interim provincial cabinet earlier this year. He has served as the Chief Justice of the apex appellate court of Gilgit Baltistan.

His name was approved for the post at a meeting called here by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Haji Ghulam Ali.
