Chennai, November 20 (Language) Karnataka, Manipur, Bengal and Andhra Pradesh emerged victorious on the fourth day of the Senior Men’s National Championship at the Mayor Radhakrishnan Hockey Stadium here on Monday.
Karnataka consolidated their position at the top of the table with a spectacular 12-1 win against Bihar in Pool C.
Mohammed Raheel Moussin (11th min, 14th min), Abharan Sudev B (13th min, 55th min), Captain Gowda Sheshe (15th min), Chetan Mallappa Karisiri (18th min, 42nd min), NG Somaiya (21st min), Harish Mutagar (22nd minute, 28th minute), Likhit BM (27th minute), and Bharat Mahalingappa Kurtakoti (38th minute) scored the goals for Karnataka.
Abhay Kumar scored the only goal for Bihar in the 54th minute.
In the Pool E match, Manipur defeated Jammu and Kashmir 15-1. 11 players from Manipur scored goals in this match.
Bengal defeated Madhya Pradesh 3-1 in a close match while Andhra Pradesh defeated Goa by the same margin in the last match of the day.
