Mumbai, November 8 (Language) Maharashtra government minister Deepak Kesarkar on Wednesday appealed to the citizens not to use fireworks this Diwali and cooperate in improving the poor air quality of Mumbai.
He also said that giving separate reservation to the Maratha community without affecting the reservation of other communities is a major task before the state government.
Kesarkar said that fireworks remain a matter of concern for the state government. The Guardian Minister of Mumbai City appealed to the citizens not to burst crackers and celebrate Diwali by lighting lamps.
