Missile attack on Ukrainian capital Kiev, Russia accuses Ukrainian army of drone attack

Kiev, November 11 (AP) Russian forces targeted Ukraine’s capital Kiev and bombed it last night. The officers provided this information.

Russian officials alleged that the Ukrainian army carried out drone attacks around Moscow and the Smolensk region.

Serhiy Popko, head of the Kiev city military administration, said a ballistic missile was shot down as it approached the capital.

He said there were no casualties.

The Ukrainian Air Force subsequently confirmed that the attack was carried out by an Iskander missile and was the first attempted missile attack on Kiev in almost two months.

Four people were killed in the attacks in three regions of Ukraine. Local officials gave this information.

He said that two people died in Kherson and one each in Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporozhye.

In Moscow, the Russian Defense Ministry said in an online statement that Ukrainian drones had been shot down in the Smolensk and Moscow regions.

Smolensk Governor Vasily Anokhin said in a post on social media that there were no casualties in the attack.
