New Delhi, November 3 (Language) Manganese ore production of public sector MOIL Limited increased by 45 percent to 9.26 lakh tonnes during April-October in the current financial year. The company gave this information on Friday.
The company had produced 6.38 lakh tonnes of manganese ore in the same period last year.
Production in October increased by 48 percent on annual basis to 1.11 lakh tonnes as against 0.75 lakh tonnes in October last year.
Cumulative sales during April-October, 2023 stood at 8.44 lakh tonnes, a 57 per cent jump from 5.37 lakh tonnes in the first seven months of the last financial year.
MOIL Limited, under the Ministry of Steel, fulfills about 46 percent of the total requirement of dioxide ore in the country.
