New Delhi, November 8 (Language) Government’s cooperative organization NCOL has kept the price of ‘Bharat Organics’ products below the market rate to promote organic products among the public. NCOL Chairman Meenesh Shah said this on Wednesday.
National Cooperative Organics Limited (NCOL), a newly formed cooperative body to promote organic produce, started selling six organic products through Mother Dairy’s 150 ‘Safal’ shops and online platforms.
Cooperation Minister Amit Shah launched the ‘Bharat Organics’ brand, its logo, website and brochure at an event here.
During the event, Shah said, “Today, we started selling six organic products through 150 ‘Safal’ shops. These shops are mostly in Delhi. We are selling them at less than the current market price.”
For example, NCOL has fixed the price of tur dal at Rs 240 per kg, which is lower than the market rate of Rs 290-300 per kg.
