NSCN rebel arrested in Arunachal.


Itanagar, November 18 (Language) Security forces in Arunachal Pradesh have arrested a militant of the National Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN-KYA) faction and two grassroots workers associated with the organization. The officers provided this information.

According to officials, Assam Rifles arrested three people during an operation in Changlang district on Friday and also recovered Rs 5 lakh in cash and weapons from their possession.

“Assam Rifles arrested one active militant of NSCN-KYA and two grassroots level workers of the India-Myanmar border at Jairampur Circle in Arunachal Pradesh and procured weapons for war-like activities from the insurgents,” the security force said on ‘X’ The infiltration attempt was foiled.
