Beirut, November 5 (AP) Four civilians, including three children, were killed in an Israeli airstrike in southern Lebanon on Sunday evening. A local civil defense official and Lebanese government media gave this information.
Israeli army spokesman Avichay Adrae said in a statement on the social media platform ‘X’ that an Israeli civilian was also killed on Sunday in an attack by the Lebanese terrorist group Hezbollah. However, he did not clarify whether the person killed was a civilian or a soldier.
Lebanon’s government news agency said in its report that on Sunday evening, members of the same family in two cars were traveling between the cities of Ainta and Aitaron when they were hit by an Israeli airstrike. A local journalist was also traveling in the car.
Reports said that after the attack, a car caught fire and the woman and three children aged 10, 12 and 14 years old were killed.
The Israeli Army and Hezbollah have not yet responded to the incident.
