National Accountability Bureau (NAB) prosecutor Waris Ali Janjua submitted a report on the interpretation of the Supreme Court’s recent order barring lower courts from passing final orders till the appeal against the verdict on amendments to the law is decided .
“The apex court’s stay order (in this case) does not apply to the acquittal petitions as they were heard by the trial court on merits and the amendments in the law have no bearing on the proceedings,” he told the court. Do not give.”
