Play stopped due to rain, South Africa 44 runs for four wickets in 14 overs


Kolkata, November 16 (Language) With two wickets each from fast bowlers Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood, Australia took four wickets for 44 runs in 14 overs of South Africa until the game was stopped due to rain in the second semi-final of the World Cup here on Thursday.

Before the rain came, Heinrich Klaasen and David Miller were present at the crease after scoring 10 runs each.

Starc dismissed South African captain Temba Bavuma for a duck.

Then Hazlewood sent the in-form Quinton de Kock to the pavilion.

Starc got the wicket of Aiden Markram and Hazlewood got his second wicket of Rassie van der Dussen.
