Power Finance Corporation Q2 net profit rises 27 percent to Rs 6,628 crore


New Delhi, November 8 (Language) The consolidated net profit of public sector Power Finance Corporation (PFC) for the second quarter of the current financial year ended in September has increased by 27 percent to Rs 6,628.17 crore. The company gave this information on Wednesday.

The company had earned a consolidated net profit of Rs 5,229.33 crore in the same quarter of the last financial year.

PFC said in the information given to the stock market that its total income increased to Rs 22,403.69 crore in the quarter under review, which was Rs 19,344.39 crore in the same quarter of the last financial year.

PFC Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) Parminder Chopra said, “We have delivered another successful quarter for the current financial year. This quarter, our board of directors has declared an interim dividend of Rs 4.50 per share.”

PFC has sanctioned Rs 70,499 crore and disbursed Rs 31,508 crore under the Delayed Payment Surcharge Scheme till September 30, 2023.
