New Delhi, November 10 (Language) President Draupadi Murmu is going to get a new voter identity card and in this sequence her address will now be changed to Rashtrapati Bhavan. The process for this has also started. Officials gave this information on Sunday.
A senior official of Delhi’s Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) office said the President’s current voter ID card shows his address as Mayurbhanj in Odisha.
CEO P Krishnamurthy visited Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi on Friday to exchange Murmu’s voter ID card, officials said.
“In an exemplary display of democratic participation, the Honorable President has filled Form-8 to initiate the address update process,” the CEO office said in a statement.
The statement said that the President is going to receive a new voter ID card which will have his new address as Delhi.
