New Delhi, November 7 (Language) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday requested the voters of both the states to exercise their franchise amid the ongoing voting in Chhattisgarh and Mizoram.
In his message to the voters of Chhattisgarh, the Prime Minister said that today is the day of sacred celebration of democracy in the state. He posted on On this occasion, my special congratulations to all the young friends of the state who voted for the first time.
He also appealed to the people of Mizoram to vote in large numbers.
Prime Minister Modi said, “I urge the people of Mizoram to vote in record numbers. I especially urge the youth and first-time voters to exercise their franchise and strengthen the celebration of democracy.
In the first phase of elections for the 90-member assembly of Chhattisgarh, voting is being held on 20 seats and all 40 seats in Mizoram on Tuesday.
