Record voting in MP: Bhopal. Record voting took place peacefully in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh on Friday. Voting was held on 300 assembly seats in both the states. In Chhattisgarh, voting ended in the second phase and in MP, voting ended in the first phase itself. The fate of candidates on 230 seats in Madhya Pradesh was completely sealed in EVMs on Friday. The fate of all these candidates will now be decided on December 3, for which the people of MP are eagerly waiting. Let us tell you that this time there was record voting in MP and a different enthusiasm was seen regarding the festival of democracy.

Record voting in MP: Let us tell you that in the last four elections, the highest voting took place this year. On an average, 66 percent voting took place on all seven seats in the capital Bhopal, while on an average, more than 73 percent voting took place on nine seats in the financial capital Indore. The final figures could not come till 11 pm. According to the Election Commission’s app voter turnout data, 76.15 percent voting took place. The surprising thing is that more than 85 percent voting took place in Naxal affected Balaghat district.
Voting enthusiasm visible even among the elderly
Better picture of democracy from Ghoghra village of Hata: On the day of democracy festival, a better picture emerged from Ghoghra tribal area of Hata block. Here an 80-year-old elderly woman, Siyarani tribal, completed a walk of about 6 kilometers to cast her vote. This elderly woman, resident of Bhurkheda village, reached the polling station of Ghoghra village from the village and returned on foot after voting. During this, the elderly woman got tired and while sitting on the way, she returned back to the village. The elderly woman set an example towards voting.
