Washington, November 13 (AP) US Republican presidential candidate Tim Scott announced his withdrawal from the 2024 election race late Sunday night.
He made the announcement about two months before voting began in Iowa’s leadoff caucuses.
South Carolina Senator Scott made the surprise announcement on the TV program ‘Sunday Night in America’ with Trey Gowdy.
Speaking to ‘AP’, Scott’s campaign spokesman Nathan Brand confirmed the news.
