Pune, November 11 (Language) Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) President Sharad Pawar’s health deteriorated during a meeting in his hometown Baramati on Saturday evening, after which doctors advised him rest. Party sources gave this information.
He said Pawar had attended a meeting at Vidya Pratisthan, a trust controlled by his family, when his health deteriorated and doctors immediately examined him.
Pawar (82) is in Baramati due to Diwali festival.
Sources said that his visit to Purandar in Pune district on Sunday has also been cancelled.
