New Delhi, November 2 (Language) Commercial vehicle maker Tata Motors will supply and operate 200 electric buses for 12 years in Srinagar and Jammu for Jammu-Srinagar Smart City projects.
According to a statement issued by Tata Motors, the company has supplied the first consignment of Ultra EV air-conditioned electric buses to Srinagar Smart City Limited through group company TML Smart City Mobility Solutions (J&K) Private Limited.
“The electric buses have been supplied under a mega contract for supply, maintenance and operation of 100 electric buses in Srinagar and 100 electric buses in Jammu for 12 years for the Jammu-Srinagar Smart City projects,” the statement said.
