Thane, November 15 (Language) A yarn manufacturing unit was gutted in a fire in Thane district of Maharashtra. A local official gave this information on Wednesday.
Yasin Tadvi, head of the disaster management cell of Thane Municipal Corporation, said that there were no casualties in the incident that took place in Kalher in Bhiwandi area on Tuesday night.
He said that four fire tenders were sent to the spot and the fire, which broke out at around 9.35 pm, was brought under control after about six hours of effort. He said that the cause of the fire is being investigated.
