New Delhi, November 21 (Language) Vinay M Tons has been appointed Managing Director of State Bank of India (SBI). This has been stated in an order of the Personnel Ministry.
Tonse was working as Deputy Managing Director (DMD) in SBI.
According to the Personnel Ministry, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Tones as Managing Director of SBI till the date of his superannuation i.e. November 30, 2025.
The country’s largest bank has four managing directors and one chairman.
