Youth dies after being hit by uncontrolled tractor in Saharanpur


Saharanpur (UP), November 12 (Language) A young man riding a motorcycle who was returning after Diwali shopping in Nagal police station area of ​​Saharanpur district died after being hit by an uncontrolled tractor on the highway.

Police gave this information on Sunday. Superintendent of Police (Rural) Sagar Jain told ‘PTI-Bhasha’ that Pravesh (32), a resident of village Sadhauli under Jhabreda police station of Haridwar district, was returning towards Gagalheri on a motorcycle after Diwali shopping late on Saturday evening when he was hit by an uncontrolled vehicle on the highway. The tractor hit his motorcycle.

Police said that Pravesh died on the spot. After the accident, the tractor driver left his vehicle on the spot and ran away.

Jain said that as soon as the information was received, Nagal police station reached the spot and identified the deceased through his mobile and informed his family members. The police have sent the body of the deceased for post-mortem.
